I’ve been doing little bits at a time on ‘Manly Corso’ and I’ve decided it’s done. Can you see my seagulls? And that funny little dog is Amelie – sort of. I’ve lifted the colour, and added people birds and dogs. An enormous amount goes on here but I’ve put in enough not to be distracting. I love public spaces like this where people promenade and meet. Today is one of those Gorgeous summer days. Clear blue sky. Calm blue water. People walking dogs, summer shorts and thongs. Cockatoos on the power lines. Venice brightened up

The Old chair gets a new life.

It looks really bright and interesting now, this old chair I inherited from my Mum. She loved the moss green velvet and mahogany wood, but I wasn’t so sure. It’s had some time in storage but when I took the studio, decided that with some re-styling, this old chair would be very comfortable as a place to think.
