New Milo the Cat Drawings

Milo the Cat in Paris – The Sketches

July 28, 2010 by ErinHill Sketching

These are the sketches of Milo in different positions. I have a few photos taken the day we visited his loft apartment in Paris so that was of great help. He is quite a ‘grand chat’ so I’m trying to show his true proportions! These are the sketches shown in the 8 ‘Milo the Cat in Paris’ series. Come join us in Paris on our Travel Sketching week, and learn to create your own sketch journal of  special places and […]

Snow Compositions

January 1, 2010 by ErinHill Sketching

I am so excited by the prospect of taking home my sketches and pics, and beginning the paintings that will follow this adventure. There is a lightness to the whole scene which I hadn’t expected. A Painting Waiting to Happen

November 10, 2009 by ErinHill Sketching

On such a beautiful day as this, as I look out across the harbour and see the colour of the sky, the water and caramel coloured buildings, and white sails – I think – great composition there. This same scene at twilight has become the background for this year’s family Christmas card. Sometimes a photograph can capture all that needs to be said. Everything is there.
